Communication Effectiveness
Influencing Different People DifferentlyInfluencing Different People Differently prepares people to expand their ability to influence and communicate with different personality styles, decision-making preferences and value systems. Research indicates individuals have a primary communication style that creates a comfort zone for their interaction with others. When a co-worker is within that comfort zone, the communication flows smoothly and a natural relationship forms. When someone is outside that comfort zone, the interaction often feels difficult and unproductive. Participants learn how to recognize the clues of other styles so they can work with different people differently. The two program modules are delivered in a half-day seminar. Storytelling: Delivering the Message People
Remember develops the skills to transform business
presentations from mundane to memorable. Typical business
presentations are multiple PowerPoint slides with bullet point after bullet
point, statistics and an occasional graph. Most of what the presenter says
evokes no emotional response and is consequently forgotten before the
participant leaves the room. Learning how to tell relevant stories will clarify
and enliven the presentation. It will then be a message the audience understands,
remembers and acts on. This program is delivered in a one-day workshop where
the individual develops a story for a presentation. Learn how to tell relevant stories
that clarify and enliven the presentation so the audience understands and
remembers the message. |
